Dr Aidan Callinan

About Dr Aidan Callinan

Dr Aidan Callinan specialises in vascular and interventional radiology and emergency trauma radiology. A University of Sydney Medical School graduate, Dr Callinan went on to complete his radiology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital before undertaking fellowship training in emergency trauma imaging at Vancouver General Hospital in Canada. He returned to further develop his vascular and body imaging skills as staff consultant and Director of Emergency Radiology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. 

Dr Callinan has an interest in non-invasive cardiac imaging and has level A accreditation in CT Coronary Angiography. Dr Callinan also has an interest in forensic radiology and is a visiting radiologist for Queensland Forensic Services at the John Tonge Centre in Brisbane. He joined St Andrews Imaging in 2010 (now part of I-MED Radiology Network) and is a welcome member of the interventional and diagnostic radiology team at I-MED and I-TeleRAD.
