Dr Catherine Jones

Dr Catherine Jones has recently joined I-MED Radiology Queensland. Catherine has prior to returning to Queensland worked in Regional Imaging in southern Tasmania, which is part of the I-MED Radiology Network where she worked from 2011 until early 2017.

Dr Jones graduated with a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics at the University of Queensland in 1997, and subsequently from medical school at the University of Queensland in 2001, before undertaking surgical and radiological training in the UK. She then completed a sub-specialty radiology fellowship in Vancouver, Canada, in cardiothoracic radiology. 

Dr Jones is a qualified B reader from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) from the United States, a specialist qualification for detection of pneumoconiosis a silicosis. 

Dr Jones also reports on emergency and trauma radiology with I-TeleRAD.
