Dr Charitha Fernando

Dr Charitha Fernando began his career as a Radiology Registrar in 1984. Since then he has gained extensive experience in both private radiology practices and public hospitals throughout New Zealand. 

Dr Fernando moved to Tasmania in February 2013, and is a welcome addition to the I-MED Radiology team. His special interests in hepatobiliary and GI interventional procedures, GI imaging and body imaging. Dr Fernando also assists with after hours reporting with I-TeleRAD.
