Professor Dr Jens J Froelich

Professor Dr Jens J. Froelich is a specialist radiologist with clinical, academic and scientific experience in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology. He is EU and US trained and has subspecialised in interventional neuroradiology and interventional radiology, mammography, chest, body and neuro imaging (including MSK). He has joined I-MED Radiology as Medical Director at Port Macquarie Base Hospital, where he resides.

He is accredited by the Conjoint Committee for Interventional Neuroradiology, the European Board of Interventional Radiology, the Conjoint Committee for Peripheral Endovascular Therapy and certified for Breast and MRI Imaging. He holds a full Professorship with Philips-University in Germany and is Clinical Professor of the University of Tasmania.

Prof Froelich has authored numerous scientific publications in internationally renowned peer-reviewed journals, has provided various book contributions, held many lectures at national and international meetings and has been awarded several international awards. Prof. Froelich is Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology and of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.

Prof Froelich also provides emergency and acute teleradiology reporting for I-TeleRAD.
